ELEMENTAL BEAUTY

Ayurveda & Yoga Retreat for the Senses and Soul
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala
AUGUST 28 - SEPTEMBER 3, 2021

Come and ignite your heart space, the essence of YOU in Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Join Anita Sundaram and Joan Ngo in one of the most magical places on earth. You'll venture on a soul-nourishing journey to a land rich in nature's elements. Ayurvedic principles and beauty rituals will be our guide for daily self-care practices. Dance and Mayan Fire Ceremony will lead us back to our hearts. Community and Sacred Empowerment will imprint our way back home.

Villa Sumaya, our home for the week, is surrounded by a vortex of volcanoes in Central America's deepest lake. Known for its healing and mystical properties that seekers and believers feel upon arrival, Lake Atitlan is considered to be the portal of Mayan civilization. The lake lies in the heart of an ancient volcano's caldera, which filled with water after its final eruption 85,000 years ago. "Atitlan" in Nahuatl means "the place where the rainbow gets its colors." Lake Atitlan and its ancient surroundings make the perfect backdrop for profound healing and transformation.

This soul - awakening retreat offers the relaxed opportunity to live and experience timeless sacred teachings while distilling the essence of "simple living and high thinking." This heart centered gathering is an invitation to journey into the self, remembering your innermost nature and what makes you feel most whole. A week dedicated to inspire and unlock a connection to your greatest potential through the wisdom of Ayurveda, yoga/meditation, dance, empowerment, community, sacred living and being in a relationship with wisdom cultures.
