Joan, the founder of Dakeeni, returns from a mystical voyage to Rajasthan, India where she was fully immersed in the captivating dance, art, music and medicine of India's land of kings. Get a rare glimpse into this dreamy world of color, craft, texture, aromas, rhythm and romance that captures the magic of this ancient royal region. 
 
Explore the vibrant pop-up bazaar of curated goods from her journeys. Dazzling jewels, intoxicating scents, intricate block print patterns, vivid textiles, and an array of handmade crafts that speak to the brilliant craftsmanship and rich traditions of Rajasthan. Give your wardrobe and home a pop of Rajasthani charm. Learn about Rajasthani's fascinating majestic heritage and culture. Enjoy melodious rhythms and cultural dance performances led by Preena and accompanied by Joan. 
 
Preena will bring her love of culture, folkloric storytelling and music to life. She has studied under master instructors and has performed internationally in Bellydance, Polynesian, Bollywood and Classical Indian/Bellydance Fusion. It's a treat for her to share her voice as well as timeless beauty and art through dance.
